In 2010, DCA.1 was taken over from AkzoNobel by an ambitious group of investors. Thanks to his years of experience in the branch (including ICTROOM and Cofely), Managing Partner Eric van Scherpenzeel has helped to build the Data Center into what it is today. It has a unique location at 16 meters above NAP (Amsterdam Ordnance Level). Additionally, it offers the possibility for physical expansion and realizing upgrades. This in combination with a double basis infrastructure (independent energy and fiberglass connections) and a robust, year-long zero-failure performance. DCA.1 is therefore the ideal location to provide the Dutch and German market with the highest quality datacenter services.

DCA.1 makes use of 2 separate power provisions that are connected to the public network. Additionally, it has a fully redundant secondary power provision.
